CLAUDELLE
Born and raised in Cornwall, Claudelle is a 17-year-old singer-songwriter who spent her childhood exploring music, museums, galleries and the Cornish coast.
She first began writing songs when she was 6 or 7 years old. Aged 9, she received a 2nd place award for composition at the Cornwall Music Festival.
Her first single, ‘Garden of Love’ was released when she was 13 and her most recent track ‘400 Years’ has been played on the BBC Introducing show on Radio Cornwall and Devon a number of times. Her first live performance was at the ‘Boardmasters’ festival.
Claudelle has since had the opportunity to play again at the ‘Boardmasters’ festival; at the ‘Great Estate’ festival; and at the ‘Little Orchard Cider Festival’ on the BBC Introducing stage. Claudelle’s musical taste is both wide and eclectic including Tony Bennett; Burt Bacharach; Claude Debussy; George Harrison; Joy Crookes; Piero Piccioni; and Amy Winehouse.
