TRUE FOXES

True Foxes, acclaimed Folk/Americana, cousin-duo from Cornwall, are quickly becoming a household name in the South West. Amie’s powerful vocals and soulful song writing has been compared to the likes of Laura Marling and Brandi Carlile, performing on Acoustic Guitar. Together with Chloe’s ethereal harmonies and melodic bass lines, the duo’s storytelling and sisterly banter takes the audience on an emotional journey.

Described as ‘the hardest working duo in the South West’ (Daniel Pascoe, BBC introducing) the self-
managed duo performed 250 shows across England, Scotland and Wales in prestigious venues including the Royal Glasgow Concert Hall, Bar Silo, Patchwork Studios, Temperance and The Musician in Leicester 2023.

2022 saw the release of the duo’s pop/folk EP ‘Sunny’ which has continued to be featured on multiple radio stations, including BBC Radio stations: Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.

True Foxes’ most recent releases; ‘How are you now?’,’17’ and ‘Devil’s Calling’ recorded at the
prestigious Cube Studios, have demonstrated their musical development from a pop/folk sound prevalent in their first EP Sunny, to an Americana inspired sound featuring drums, fiddle and banjo heard on their upcoming debut album.

In the spring of 2023 they performed their new originals across the UK on a debut headline tour then returned to grace the stages of major UK festivals such as Shrewsbury Folk Festival, Wilderness in Oxford, Wychwood in Cheltenham, Celtic Connections in Scotland and Boardmasters in Cornwall, as well as performing on the main stages at Tunes in the Dunes, Great Estate, Rock Oyster and Rattler Fest.

With a music video released last spring, a new country single with video out in February and a Debut album in store for March 2024, things are looking exciting for True Foxes!
