CHRIS OSTLER

Hailing from Exeter, UK, Chris Ostler is an original neurodivergent country-rock and pop music artist. His visits to Canada, from childhood right through to his recent tour, significantly influence his sound, imparting with it a vibrant transatlantic resonance.

Chris’ distinctive, powerful, vocal melodies and lyrics are complemented by an acoustic-electric guitar that thoroughly engages the audience through a captivating performance style. The addition of a band to his ensemble further enhances the energy and flare of his shows.

Some describe Chris as an eclectic fusion of Jelly Roll, Bryan Adams and Nate Smith.  Among the musicians currently active in the South-West, Chris’ unsigned, neurodivergent approach allows him captivate audiences from tens to thousands across all ages and generations.

Festival attendees consistently express their renewed energy, excitement, and desire to hear more from him. The live audience is Chris’ natural domain, and his passion for music resonates deeply with the crowd, permeating every performance.

Chris has supported international artists such as Joan Armatrading, Martin Barr and Chris Barron, and national performers, The Leylines, 3 Daft Monkeys, Sarah McQuaid and the Barefoot Bandits. Playing main stage in larger festivals including GoldCoast Oceanfest, The Big Feastival, and Wychwood, have given Chris further drive to perform far and wide, and he can’t wait to come here!
